The Sugar Bowl Lodge

Sporthaus Fitness Center & Spa

Adjacent to the Sugar Bowl Lodge, the Sporthaus is a joint athletic fitness & training facility featuring a spa, sauna, steam rooms, yoga studio, cardio and weight training facilities, family pool with 25-yard lap lanes and two hot tubs, locker rooms and social areas. Registered guests at the Sugar Bowl Lodge during the winter season have complimentary access to the Sporthaus! (There is a charge for spa, massage and other services.) Getting to Sugar Bowl Lodge

The easiest way to access our extraordinary Lodge is via the Village Gondola off Old 40, Donner Pass Road (address below). You will park in our parking garage, and once on board the Gondola, you will arrive inside the Sugar Bowl Lodge in just a few minutes. We do not offer overnight parking in our Judah base area parking lots nor adjacent to The Lodge, so we highly encourage taking the Village Gondola during your stay.

During the winter ski and snowboard season on days/nights when the Sugar Bowl Lodge is open, we're available from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm. Otherwise, we're generally available from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Relax in a cozy & comfortable room with two twin beds. This room is located on the second floor of the historic Sugar Bowl Lodge, so you'll enjoy a charming view of the snowbound Village. Head down to the first floor for après in the lively Belt Room bar or relax in front of the fireplace. Our Northern Twin Room offers excellent value for 2 guests. This room is conveniently located in the heart of Sugar Bowl, so you and your ski buddy will be ready to hit the slopes at a moment's notice.

Our premier slopeside accommodations at The Lodge are steps from the Disney Lift with unparalleled views of Sugar Bowl's legendary terrain. There is truly nothing like staying in a slopeside room at Sugar Bowl Lodge. A sweeping balcony runs along the lodge's upper floor, just outside your room. It's the perfect place to sip your morning coffee gazing up at Mount Disney. By afternoon, the balcony becomes a meeting place where skiers/riders in neighboring rooms reminisce about a great day on the slopes. Our Mountain View Rooms have recently been remodeled with a modern alpine feel and are comfortably furnished with one queen bed. Convenience, comfort, and breathtaking views – a mountain view room is an optimal base camp for 1-2 people.

If you are looking for family-friendly après, find it in the lively Belt Room or on the Village Deck, there is often live music outside on the weekends, weather permitting.

Our Mountain Family Room is our premiere offering for your family of four or a small group. The room has recently been remodeled with a modern alpine feel and is comfortably furnished with one queen bed and a twin bunk bed. On a trip to the mountains, you can't beat the convenience of slopeside access if a family member needs to swap a pair of gloves quickly, grab a snack, or take a call. The Mountain Family Room is just steps from the lifts, with incredible views of Mt Disney and Crows Peak. A sweeping balcony runs along the lodge's upper floor, just outside your room. It's the perfect place to watch your friends and family skiing down Mount Disney all day long.

If you're seeking an elevated experience in the mountains, book the sought-after Deluxe Suite before it sells out. This slopeside suite is perfect for a special occasion. Imagine watching Mt. Disney light up as the sun rises over the Sierra Crest. You'll be steps from the lifts when it's time to hit the slopes. Finally, you can wrap up the day with an evening of après in the lively Belt Room. This spacious suite is divided into three rooms– a main bedroom with a queen bed, an oversized bathroom with split vanities, and a generous living room. If traveling as a family, the living room has a convertible pull-out sofa that can accommodate two additional guests.
