The highly successful Sugar Bowl Ski Team provides alpine development, nordic development, winter awareness, as well as competitive alpine, freeride, and nordic ski programs for athletes ages 4 and up. While Sugar Bowl Ski Team alumni have gone on to become members of the U.S. Ski Team and to compete at the NCAA Division I level, SBST’s primary objective is to provide a fun environment in which kids learn to love the sport of skiing. They emphasize character development through the challenges faced here on Donner Summit.

Sugar Bowl Academy student-athletes thrive on the dual pursuit of rigorous academics and competitive skiing in an environment that celebrates hard work and the pursuit of worthy goals. Graduates have gone on to some of the best colleges and universities in the country and many have continued their pursuit of skiing on NCAA teams at schools like Bates, Boston College, Dartmouth, Harvard, Middlebury, Saint Lawrence University and the University of Colorado.
